International Monetary Fund Chief Kristalina Georgieva has warned of increased risks to global financial stability and called for actions by advanced economies.

Speaking at a conference of China Development Forum in Beijing on Sunday, the IMF head said 2023 would be another difficult year, with global growth slowing to below three percent  the conflict in Ukraine and monetary tightening.

She said we are monitoring developments closely and are assessing potential implications for the global economic outlook and global financial stability.

Georgieva said the IMF is also paying close attention to the most vulnerable countries, particularly low-income countries with high levels of debt.
