In Myanmar, the pro-democracy protesters have started a non-cooperation movement against the country's junta from today urging people to stop paying electricity bills and agricultural loans.

The move by protesters comes after an agreement between the junta chief and ASEAN leaders which was largely criticized for lacking people's will and timeline to end the crisis and sparked country wide protests yesterday.
