Afghan Ambassador to Switzerland Nasir Andisha has strongly opposed the Afghan Taliban regime's illegal control over Afghan consulates in Europe.

According to a report by the British media outlet Atlas Press, he said the Taliban's attempts to seize control of Afghan consulates in Europe, including Germany, are part of a covert strategy.

He revealed that the Taliban have attempted to trap certain European governments by threatening to cancel passports and halt consular services.

He said if the Taliban regime gains control over the consular database, they will be able to access sensitive information about Afghan citizens.

He further cautioned that if the Taliban regime gains control over the consular database, they will acquire access to highly sensitive information regarding Afghan citizens.

The Ambassador emphasized that the regime could weaponize this sensitive data as a tool for coercion and blackmail against Afghans.
