Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan says Pakistan is playing a positive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

He was talking to a United States Congress delegation, comprising Republican Congressmen Ryan Zinke and Michael Baumgartner, in Lahore today.

The Governor said the government is making efforts to help resolve the Iran-United States dispute.

The visiting US delegation appreciated Pakistan's peace efforts.
