President Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Muhammad Younas Khan Momand says the Taliban leadership has assured the business community of peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Talking to correspondents of Radio Pakistan, PTV and APP in Kabul on Thursday, he said there is vast scope of increasing bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan, where Pakistan is major beneficiary as maximum of our imports come from Pakistan.

Younas Momand said Afghanistan imports electrical goods, brakes, steels, construction materials, clothes, Kinno, Banana and different food commodities from Pakistan, while Afghanistan exports fresh and dry fruits to Pakistan.

Replying to a question, the President Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries said that establishing joint border markets, the step taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan, can change the fate of both the countries.
