In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the occupying forces continued an extensive cordon-and-search operation in Samba district for the second consecutive day today.

Meanwhile, protests continued for the fifth consecutive day, demanding justice for a schoolgirl who was allegedly raped in Kishtwar district.

The demonstrations are spreading to other districts of the Jammu region as public anger over alleged administrative inaction grows.
