Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Party Secretary of the China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee He Zhongyo have met in Urumqi.

On the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said Punjab enjoys the distinction of being Pakistan's food basket.

She said pilot projects, in collaboration with China, can be launched in different parts of Punjab.

Both sides discussed strengthening economic cooperation and enhancing bilateral collaboration between Punjab and Xinjiang.
