Israeli troops in their fresh raids have martyred four Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

An Israeli military spokesperson said troops carried out five raids in the West Bank "in order to stop a Hamas organisation cell from operating.

President Mahmoud Abbas in a statement accused Israel of executions in the fields against Palestinians.

Hamas has called on Palestinians in the West Bank "to escalate resistance against the occupier in all areas" after the raids.
