Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood says the government is working to increase literacy level and promote non-formal education in the country.
He was addressing the Joint Coordination Committee meeting of Japan International Cooperation Agency in Lahore today [Friday].
The Minister said the government is trying its best to address the out-of-school children issue to bring revolution in the field of education in Pakistan and strengthen the systems.
He said “Matric-Tech” learning programme would be a huge landmark in attracting the interest of the parents, who are not happy with the educational outcomes.
