Punjab Government will promulgate strict legislation to keep educational institutions free of drugs.

This was stated by Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi during a meeting with the Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics, Sardar Muhammad Asif Nakai and MNA Talib Nakai in Lahore on Saturday.

During the meeting, they reviewed the performance of Narcotics Department and Narcotics Substance Act 2022.

The CM said strict punishments will be awarded on use, selling and buying of drugs in educational institutions. He said anti narcotics police stations and special courts will be established to check the menace.
