Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his government's commitment to alleviate poverty from the country.

He was chairing a meeting of Poverty Alleviation Coordination Council in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program, Dr. Sania Nishtar briefed the meeting on planning and course of action on poverty alleviation.

The Prime Minister said real development is only possible when more and more people are lifted from poverty.

He directed that time should be allocated for each target to avoid delay.

The Prime Minister also instructed all the ministries to take the program forward in an integrated manner.
