Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has underlined the need for collaborating efforts to put the country's economy on right track.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday evening, he said the real objective of Tuesday’s Turnaround Conference is to find solutions to the country's current economic issues.

The Minister said the Conference will provide a platform to academia, experts and other stakeholders to devise short term plans for the betterment of country's economy.

He said during the conference three short term plans will be finalized to pursue the government's agenda of development.

Ahsan Iqbal said the government is striving to achieve the objectives of vision 2025 that was set aside by the previous government. He also appreciated the role of overseas experts and youth who is participating in the conference.
