Zulfiqar Ahmad reaffirms commitment to workers' welfare

The government is committed to ensuring workers have access to healthcare, education, housing, and social protection.

This was stated by Secretary, Workers Welfare Fund, Zulfiqar Ahmad, while addressing a workers' convention at Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad.

The Secretary assured the workers that their issues would be addressed. He also announced the establishment of a modern housing colony to provide workers with dignified living facilities.

He reiterated that all welfare schemes are being implemented through a transparent mechanism to ensure that every deserving worker receives benefits fairly and without discrimination.

Zulfiqar Ahmad said he was visiting the area on the directions of Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain to engage directly with workers and address their concerns.

On the occasion, President of the CBA Union, FFC, Nasir Bajwa, expressed gratitude to Chaudhry Salik Hussain for his dedicated efforts to promote workers' welfare.

Earlier, upon his arrival, the Secretary was warmly received by workers and union representatives.

The convention witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of workers, reflecting their confidence in the government's worker-centric welfare initiatives.
