In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has welcomed the recent developments wherein strengthening of mechanisms for effective ceasefire along the Line of Control was announced jointly by India and Pakistan.

A statement of PDP quoted party’s General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone as saying that dialogue holds key to peace and prosperity in the subcontinent.

Ghulam Nabi Lone said Kashmiris are always the most affected by the hostilities between India and Pakistan and they wish that both countries engage constructively so that Jammu and Kashmir becomes a bridge of peace between the two countries.
