A special seminar on defence exports was held at Heavy Industries Taxila.

In his address, Secretary Defence Production Retired Lieutenant General Muhammad Chiragh Haider Baloch said the defence industry is playing an important role in the country's economy and self-reliance is also generating foreign exchange.

He said Pakistan's defence industry has the full capacity to meet the needs of the armed forces. He said Pakistan has not only become self-sufficient in key defence requirements but also has the capacity to meet the needs of external buyers.
