In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism have martyred a Kashmiri civilian in Kupwara district.
The troops raided the house of 43-year-old social activist Ghulam Rasool Magray in Kandi Khas and shot him in the courtyard, leaving him critically injured.
He succumbed to his injuries before reaching hospital in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Indian forces’ personnel raided 13 locations in Doda district, harassing inmates, including women and children, and confiscating important documents and digital devices.
Cordon and search operations continue across various districts in the Kashmir Valley and Jammu region.
Over the past week, Indian troops martyred three innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters in Bandipora and Baramulla districts, arrested over 2,000 Kashmiris and demolished at least a dozen homes in widespread operations across the Kashmir Valley.
All Parties Hurriyat Conference Spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, has expressed grave concern over the ongoing killings, arrests and demolitions in the occupied territory.
He further said Indian troops, shielded by draconian laws, have unleashed terror, with unchecked powers to kill, arrest, and demolish homes.
The APHC also criticized the international community's silence on India's state terrorism but affirmed that Kashmiris' resolve for freedom remains unshaken, and their struggle will continue.
On the other hand, in another move to tighten its grip on media freedom, stifle critical voices and suppress independent reporting, India has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels in the aftermath of the Pahalgam false flag operation.
The ban based on the Indian Home Ministry's recommendations targets prominent platforms and many individual channels of journalists.
