The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that Indian occupation and its brutal policies are spoiling peace in South Asia and pose threats to regional political and economic stability.

This was stated by APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar.

He welcomed the observance of Black Day and said that people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Kashmir and the Kashmiri diaspora reiterated their pledge to never accept India's forcible occupation of their motherland and to resist its military aggression at any cost.

He said the hegemonic designs of the RSS-backed Bharatiya Janata Party government in India pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

The APHC spokesman said India has been impeding for decades the way to a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

He said that peace will continue to elude South Asia till the lingering Kashmir dispute is resolved as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
