The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has categorically rejected the false and fabricated claim of the Afghan Taliban regime regarding the Angoor Adda border incident.

The Ministry termed the statement of the Afghan Taliban regime as false and misleading.

The Fact Checker of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said the latest fabrication of lies by the Afghan Taliban regime on the Angoor Adda incident again confirms its deceitful character.

It said the fact of the matter is that their cowardly forces initiated unprovoked firing and mortar shelling on unarmed civilians on the Pakistani side, following the pattern and instructions of their proxy masters in India.

The Fact Checker said an immediate, effective and disproportionate response by Pakistan's brave and proud security forces not only silenced their guns but also inflicted heavy casualties on their men, in addition to material losses, including the destruction of seven posts.

It said such lies by the so-called official spokespersons of the Taliban regime carry no value and are part of a litany of fabricated stories that they keep telling, mostly to their own people suffering under their imposed and non-representative regime.
