President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they commended the professional competence of the security forces in destroying the terrorists' hideouts and neutralizing nine terrorists operating under Indian patronage.

They said the nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its security forces and law enforcement agencies.

President Asif Ali Zardari, in his statement, said the conspiracies hatched by foreign sponsors and local facilitators of terrorists will be thwarted.

In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed firm resolve to continue the war against the menace of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country.

He said the efforts of the security forces and law enforcement agencies toward the complete elimination of terrorism and the establishment of lasting peace in the country are highly commendable.

He said terrorists who seek to harm Pakistan's security and peace will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
