Director General Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Asim Khichi, has expressed commitment to make Radio Pakistan in line with the modern digitized media standards.

Inaugurating the new signboard of Radio Pakistan at National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said the much-needed step in this regard is to improve transmission of Radio Programmes for expanding its outreach.  

The Director General said ten new transmitters have been procured to replace old and obsolete ones. 

Asim Khichi expressed the resolve that no stone will be left unturned to revive Radio Pakistan, including welfare of its employees.
