Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto today (Tuesday).
During the telephonic conversation, the Deputy Prime Minister apprised him on the current regional situation.
Ishaq Dar strongly rejected India's baseless propaganda and unilateral illegal actions against Pakistan, specifically holding Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance - a clear violation of international law.
Reaffirming Pakistan's commitment to promote peace and stability, the Prime Minister emphasizes Pakistan's resolve to defend its national interests.
On the occasion, Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto underscored the importance of de-escalating the situation through dialogue and peaceful resolution of issues.
Ishaq Dar also appreciated the excellent momentum in bilateral relations after Foreign Minister Szijjarto recent visit to Islamabad.
