Punjab government has approved phase-wise construction, repair and rehabilitation projects in major cities across the province.

Chairing a meeting held in Lahore on Tuesday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that sewage and drainage systems will be developed in fifty-nine cities in the first phase.

The meeting further decided to connect water supply tube wells to solar energy to reduce electricity expenses.

Maryam Nawaz also directed that swings and sports facilities must be included in all new park projects.
