In Balochistan, the Musakhel district administration has started emergency relief operations in the earthquake-affected areas of Tehsil Kangri to provide health facilities and other basic amenities to victims.

In a message, Deputy Commissioner of Musakhel Abdul Razaq Khan Khajak said rehabilitation of the victims, provision of medical facilities, and compensation for losses is top priority of the Balochistan government.

He said relief teams are on alert in the affected areas of Kangri and uninterrupted medical assistance, food, and tents are being provided to the victims.

The DC said that the district administration has also mobilized relevant staff in the field to assess the damage to the affected houses and infrastructure.
