Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik has called for encouraging the youth to develop indigenous solutions to address the challenges posed by climate change.

Addressing an event regarding climate change today, he said the youth are the hope of Pakistan and the pioneers of innovative solutions.

He stressed the need to invest in their creativity, human ingenuity, and innovation, noting that solutions developed by the youth could have the potential to become billion-dollar solutions because of their universal applicability.

The Minister also highlighted the challenges posed by climate change, pointing out that Pakistan contributes less than one percent to global greenhouse gas emissions.
