Iran has declared the "Makkah Joint Defence Agreement" among Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey as an effective step towards providing security by the regional countries themselves and cutting off the hands of foreigners.

This was stated by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi while responding to a question during a news conference in Tehran.
