Pakistan and the Republic of Korea have agreed to enhance cooperation between their judiciaries.

The agreement was reached during a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary of Korea to Pakistan Han Sungho and Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi in Islamabad.

Acknowledging the Supreme Court of the Republic of Korea's considerable experience in judicial automation and technology-enabled court administration, Justice Yahya Afridi noted that closer institutional engagement could further support Pakistan's ongoing automation and digital integration efforts.

Both sides discussed the proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the judiciaries of Pakistan and the Republic of Korea, which is expected to be signed during the forthcoming visit of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to Seoul.

Ambassador Han Sungho appreciated the reform initiatives of Pakistan's judiciary and expressed support for further strengthening judicial cooperation between the two countries.
