Govt committed to provide incentives to business community: Finance Minister

Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has said the government is firmly committed to provide incentives to the business community which are targeted and sustainable in the long run.

Talking to the representatives of Overseas Investment Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) and Pakistan Business Council (PBC), in Islamabad, he said our goal is to achieve an all-inclusive sustainable economic growth which leads to industrialization, employment generation, export led growth and import substitution.

Later, a delegation of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) also called on the Finance Minister.

Shaukat Tareen reiterated the commitment of the Government to facilitate textile sector for enhancing value-added exports. Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association Khurram Mukhtar commended the recent measures taken by the Government to facilitate businessmen and exporters amid COVID-19 pandemic. He specifically lauded the fully automated system of FBR for disbursement of refunds in an expeditious manner.
