Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the government will prioritize involving Pakistani investor community in the reform process of IT and other sectors.

Chairing a meeting regarding investor involvement and opportunities in the process of digital and other reforms in the FBR, in Islamabad, he expressed the confidence that the country will achieve sustainable, better and lasting outcomes through Pakistani investors.

The Prime Minister instructed to organize a special webinar to inform IT sector investors about investment opportunities in FBR's digital reforms.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistani business community is earning global recognition. Our entrepreneurs in IT sector are providing valuable services in the global market.

He said there is no doubt that the Pakistani nation has the ability to play a central role not only in the national economy but also in the development of the global economy. He said Pakistan has world-class experts in every field including IT and if they are provided with opportunities according to their capabilities, they can deliver outstanding results.

Participants of the meeting were briefed on the various phases of digital reforms in the FBR and the investment opportunities available in it.
