Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to further strengthen and activate the "Ask PERA" portal to ensure the prompt redressal of public complaints. 

Chairing a meeting in Lahore to review the performance of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, she directed the Director General of PERA to enhance direct engagement with the public.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said every action taken by PERA should be people-friendly, adding that corruption and abuse of power will not be tolerated under any circumstances. She directed that all actions be carried out strictly in accordance with PERA rules.
