Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has directed all concerned departments to ensure close coordination and timely completion of preparations for hosting the SCO Council of Heads of State Summit in Islamabad next year.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad today to review preparations for the event, he expressed satisfaction over the progress and emphasized that all arrangements must be completed within the agreed timelines.

Ishaq Dar underscored Pakistan's commitment to successfully hosting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and setting high standards as host of this important multilateral forum.
