In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir , Indian occupying forces, in a fresh act of state terrorism, have martyred a youth in Budgam district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth was martyred in a fake encounter by personnel of the Indian Army's Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force during a cordon and search operation in the Korag area of Yousmarg in the district.

The occupation forces continued their cordon and search operations in different areas of Budgam, Baramulla, Rajouri, and Poonch districts.

Local residents have complained that the phenomenon of extrajudicial killings has increased manifold.

India has deployed over one million troops in Kashmir to maintain its illegal control over the territory, making it one of the world's most heavily militarized regions.

Indian state terrorism has martyred over 96,500 Kashmiris since January 1989, including over 7,400 in custodial killings and fake encounters.

Meanwhile, four Indian Central Industrial Security Force personnel, including an assistant commandant, were killed in an incident of fratricide inside a camp at the Sewa-III hydroelectric power project in Kathua district.

The incident took place when Head Constable Abhidesh Kumar opened fire with his service rifle following an argument with some of his colleagues.

Four CISF personnel sustained critical injuries in the firing and later succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital.
