President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for their successful operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan.

In their separate statements, they said the professionalism and courage of security forces in the war against terrorism are a source of pride.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that operations against terrorism would continue to ensure peace in the country and protect the lives and property of the people.

He said that nefarious designs of terrorist elements operating with foreign support would be foiled at all costs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that operations by security forces would continue until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country.

He said eliminating the menace of terrorism from Pakistan is the government's top priority.

The Prime Minister said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces.
