Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Pakistan not just a consumer but also a producer of technology.

She was speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad for female students who completed Huawei’s Summer ICT Training Programme.

The Minister said Pakistan has immense potential and its youth are on a par with the world’s best professionals.

She said the government aims to equip young people with digital skills, emphasizing the importance of technology in every sector, including defence.

She said that the government is also working on a cybersecurity policy.
