Dr. Talat Wazarat (Expert on International Relations):   Adoption of resolution on Kashmir by the OIC is a victory of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts as almost the entire Muslim community has supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir. India has turned into unbearable entity for the entire South Asian region.  This is a matter of concern for the peace-loving nations in the world. New Delhi has adopted arrogant attitude and not showing disrespect to the sentiments of the people of Kashmir.  India has to do a lot more than passing the resolutions. A few practical and concrete steps should be taken by the Muslim world and international community. Now, the United Nations should also take actions for the implementation of its resolutions.

Dr. A. Z. Hilali (Expert on International Relations):  It is interesting to see that India has felt exposed because of OIC resolution on Kashmir. It is a diplomatic victory for Pakistan. The OIC has issued a comprehensive document and all the member countries have voted in its favor. The Foreign Minister and his team have done a tremendous job to present to present the Kashmir case. It was a true representation of the sentiments of Kashmiri people.  The OIC declaration talks about gave human rights violations by India. It has urged the UN to resolve Kashmir dispute in accordance with UNSC resolutions. It has also condemned indiscriminate killing of innocent Kashmiris. The BJP wants to establish its monopoly in India and, is involved in state sponsored terrorism in the region. For the next summit of OIC, which will take place in Pakistan, our foreign office should start working beforehand?

Brigadier, Retired, Mehmood Shah (Defence Expert): This is a diplomatic victory of Pakistan. Historically, the previous governments in Pakistan used to take a week stance and OIC used to give a lukewarm response.  Now, the incumbent government has launched a diplomatic offensive, which has yielded positive results. Pakistan has exposed India in front of global community.  The resolution by the OIC member counties has given a strong message to India that Kashmir issue should be resolve through peaceful talks.  The next OIC summit will take place in Pakistan and we can use this opportunity in the favor of Kashmiri people. India is mistreating the Christian community in India. We should highlight their sufferings to win more and more support of the global community.

Dr. Huma Baqai (Expert on International Relations):  There is a an element of strategic convergence between Pakistan and China. CPEC is a game changer for the entire region. China has always stood by Pakistan in testing times. Pakistan-China friendship is sending posting message to the regional and global countries. The new arrangement between Pakistan and China is extremely important. India should understand the emerging patterns of regional engagement and become responsible member of the region. What happened in Galwan is evident of the fact that India cannot afford to antagonize China.
