Pakistan is facilitating Sikh pilgrims and individuals of different religions visiting the country by providing them with accommodation, transportation, meals, medical assistance, and security services free of cost.
This was stated by Additional Secretary of the Shrines Evacuee Trust Property Board of Pakistan, Saifullah Khokhar, during an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan.
He said the relevant government departments including the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and security agencies are providing dedicated services to the visiting guests.
He mentioned that, on average, Pakistan receives one-thousand to fifteen-hundred Sikh pilgrims every day.
Saifullah Khokhar said people of Pakistan and India share a deep connection, rooted in their cultural traditions and linguistic similarities, which reflects in the affection they hold for each other.
