Punjab government has taken necessary steps to protect the lives of citizens and to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the province.

In a statement in Lahore on Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said, as number of patients is increasing, implementation of SOPs is essential to overcome coronavirus.

He said people violating SOPs will be dealt with strict action.
