President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the youth to play their role in making Pakistan Clean and Green.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with Monsoon Tree Plantation in Islamabad today (Saturday), he said Pakistan is reckoned amongst the countries most affected by global warming.

The President said the world recognizes the successes achieved by Pakistan regarding Covid-19 containment and massive plantation of trees. 

He said the billion tree tsunami project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was launched not for the sake of votes but to protect our future generations.

Expressing his pleasure over increased number of tourists visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan, he said there is a need to create awareness amongst people to keep these picturesque places neat and tidy.
