Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Ramesh Singh Arora says government will launch a Minority Card Project on twentieth of December for the poor and needy families belonging to minority communities.
In an exclusive interview with our Radio Pakistan Lahore Correspondent Sajjad Parvez in Lahore, he said through this minority card, ten thousand and five hundred rupees will be provided to every needy and poor family after the period of every three months.
He said government is fully committed to protect rights of minorities residing across the province as they are playing their important role for nation building.
Earlier, talking with Radio Pakistan Lahore representative, Executive Director BARGAD Sabiha Shaheen paid rich tribute to PML (N) government for organizing the special function to celebrate Diwali at official level for the first time in the history of the province.
On the other hand, Hindu community living across the country is celebrating Diwali today.
