In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), the Indian occupied forces martyred 232 youth in so called 312 Cordon and Search Operations during the year 2020.

According to a report prepared by the Legal Forum for Oppressed Voices of Kashmir during such operations, the Indian forces destroyed 657 houses.

The Indian forces also launched broad-day inhuman attacks on Kashmir’s civil society, raiding residencies and offices of human rights defenders, journalists and civil society organizations.

Meanwhile, the President of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration Farooq Abdullah has rejected as fallacious the claims that the alliance has accepted 5th August 2019 announcements by India by participating in the recently concluded District Development Council polls, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Farooq Abdullah, who is also National Conference President in a media interview said we fought elections against the 5th August 2019 unconstitutional announcements.
