Vice Admiral (Retd.) Ahmad Tasnim (Defense Analyst): The upcoming maritime multinational exercise in Pakistan will be a reply to anti-Pakistan elements that are involved in efforts to isolate us. The navies from 40 countries will be part of this exercise. Naval assets including naval ships, helicopters, Special Forces elements and observers from these nations will be participating in the exercise which is a good development. Another benefit of this drill will be that Pakistan can learn a lot from the expertise of other nations and can upgrade its technology as well. Moreover, the interaction between different countries on a single platform is also another advantage of such exercises.
