Maj Gen (Retd) Ejaz Awan (Defense Analyst): It is a positive development that regional countries are supporting the narrative of Pakistan. Iran has once again urged India to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination, and it will definitely bring India under pressure. The debates on Kashmir disputes and human rights violation in Occupied Kashmir by Indian forces are going on in British and European Parliaments as well as in United Nations. The international pressure is gradually increasing on India to release the innocent young Kashmiris, lifting of curfew and stop committing atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It is the United Nations that provided right of plebiscite to Kashmiri people in its resolution But India at local level has amended its constitution and abrogated article 370 and 35-A by having the majority in the Indian parliament. There are no opportunities of direct talks between India and Pakistan at this point of time, so Pakistan needs to use diplomacy to expose cruel Indian face and change the public opinions in civilized countries on Kashmir issue.
