Pakistan is not satisfied with efforts of the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir issue

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst): Pakistan is a responsible member of the international community and, unlike India it wants to adopt diplomatic measures to resolve any dispute. Pakistan is not satisfied with the efforts of the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir issue. India is involved in gross human rights violations in IIOJK. The black laws imposed by Indian authorities in IIOJK are against humanity. Pakistan has asked the UN and international community that independent international observers should come and see the actual human rights situation in IIOJK. India is habitual of violating ceasefire agreements at LoC. India being a nuclear state behaves very immaturely. New Delhi’s hegemonic agenda is posing a serious threat to regional peace and security. The people of Kashmir have been facing severe lockdown since August 5, 2019. There is food shortage, target killings and gang rapes which are being used as a weapon to silence the voice of Kashmiri people. India is envious of Pakistan's improving reputation at the international front. The western powers are using India as a proxy against China. The world has maintained a criminal silence on the Kashmir dispute for strategic and economic interests. Pakistan has provided sufficient evidence to world to expose India's state sponsored terrorism. Prime Minister Imran Khan has emerged as an ambassador of Kashmiri people. Pakistan has the option to respond militarily to Indian hostility, but we always prefer peace over conflict. India must refrain from bringing Pakistan to a point where no return is possible.
