The United Nations must take strict action against New Delhi to stop Indian brutalities in the held valley. It is a good development that the new administration in Washington is concerned with the human rights situation in IIOJK. The United States can play a significant role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the will of Kashmiri people. It is a diplomatic victory of Pakistan that the global community has started taking notice of Indian atrocities in the held valley. Kashmir is an unresolved agenda of partition between Pakistan and India. A strong economy of Pakistan is key to resolving the Kashmir issue. Pakistan has a clear stance that Kashmir is an international dispute and must be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions.
