Hafiz Shafiq Kashif (Chair, Middle East Committee, FCCI): It is a great transformation and Pakistan is also going to be a part of it. The rise in economic activities between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia under the incumbent government is seeing encouraging results. Both brotherly countries need to enhance their bilateral volume of trade. During his current visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister addressed the future investment summit and he is also going to hold meetings with Saudi higher officials. Pakistan can enhance its fresh fruits as well as halal food products to Saudi Arabia as there is huge demand of these products in Saudi Arabia. Pakistani manpower can also serve in IT industry of Saudi Arabia. In the next few years, the number of Pakistani IT companies will increase to around four hundred. There was need to increase cooperation as well as links between the people and governments of two countries, and the current government has embarked on the same route. Saudi Arabia needs two million people from Pakistan for various reconstruction projects.
