Arishullah (Expert on Afghan Affairs): According to Doha Accord the interim government in Afghanistan pledged that its soil will not be used against other countries. But the militant organizations having safe havens in the war torn country are using Afghan soil for their nefarious designs against Pakistan. Due to its mis-commitments to the Doha accord, the international community is still not recognizing Afghanistan as a state. The Afghan government is not taking serious actions against the militant organizations there. Pakistan has to adopt certain approaches to deal with the challenge of terrorism emerging from Afghanistan. The government has ordered the illegal Afghan citizens residing in Pakistan to leave the country. Moreover, the trade with Afghanistan must be stopped.
