Indian troops martyred 14 Kashmiris in September

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred fourteen Kashmiris during the last month.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, five of those martyred Kashmiris were killed in fake encounters.  

During the month, thirty two youth were critically injured due to the firing of pellets and teargas shells by Indian police and paramilitary personnel on peaceful demonstrators in the territory.

As many as 125 civilians were arrested and several of them were booked under black laws, Public Safety Act and Unlawful Activities Act.

Meanwhile, Indian troops martyred one more youth during a cordon and search operation in Rakhama area of Shopian district, today. 

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement in a statement in Srinagar appealed to the UN and human rights bodies to impress upon India to stop its state terrorism in IIOJK.

On the other hand, the Chairman of Kashmir Institute of International Relations, Altaf Hussain Wani, while taking part through video-link in a debate held in the 48th Session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, urged the council to break its silence on the Indian brutalities in IIOJK.

The members of Kuwait’s National Assembly in a joint statement condemned the atrocities committed by the Indian authorities and Hindu extremist groups against the Muslim community in India.

They called upon the international human rights bodies and Islamic organisations to immediately help stop the Indian authorities' actions and ensure security to the Indian Muslims.
