On the directives of National Command and Operation Center, and Home Department of Gilgit Baltistan, teams constituted in Gilgit, Skardu and other districts have started checking of Covid-19 Vaccination certificates in bazaars, shopping malls and bus stops.

The Deputy Commissioner Gilgit, Usama Majeed and DC Skardu Karim Dad have directed all the Assistant Commissioners to take action against violators as per directives of the NCOC.

Meanwhile, vaccination to reduce spread of Covid-19, especially in the educational institutions, is also in progress.

According to the Command and Operation Center, over 3300 people have been administered vaccine during the last 24 hours.

Similarly, over 755,000 people have been administered vaccination across Gilgit Baltistan so far.
