President Dr Arif Alvi has asked Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to enhance its outreach to the remote areas of the country to help the underprivileged sections of society.

He made these remarks at a briefing, given by the Managing Director PBM, Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar in Islamabad today (Friday). 

The President called for focusing on poverty-stricken and deprived areas of the country, particularly Balochistan, interior Sindh and erstwhile FATA, to provide financial assistance and social protection to widows, orphans, women and differently-abled people.

Dr Arif Alvi underlined the need for joining hands by the Government and private sector to help address the issues being faced by the vulnerable segments of society.
