The Federal government has released funds amounting to 327.579 million rupees during first eight months of the current fiscal year to execute 16 Aviation Division projects under the Public Sector Development Programme.

According to the official data, an amount of 100 million rupees has been provided each for construction of Airport Security Force Camp at Islamabad International Airport and construction of Rain Water Harvesting Kasana Dam in Rawalpindi.

Similarly, 3.532 million rupees have been released for establishment of a Specialized Medium Range Weather Forecasting Center and strengthening of weather forecasting system in the country.

Moreover, a sum of 60 million rupees has been issued to install Weather Surveillance Radar at Karachi and Multan.
