Hurriyat leadership expresses deep concern over deteriorating human rights situation in IIOJ&K
October 06, 2021

All Parties Hurriyat Conference's incarcerated Vice Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Shah has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a message to the freedom-loving people of Jammu and Kashmir from Delhi’s Tihar Jail, he said in the present circumstances when the entire Hurriyat leadership is behind bars, the courageous people of Jammu and Kashmir have been able to defeat India on all fronts.

Shabbir Shah made it clear to India that jails had always proved best schools for the revolutionary movements in the world and Kashmir freedom struggle is no exception.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyat leaders and organsations in their statements in Srinagar strongly denounced the gruesome murder of a well known chemist, Makhan Lal Bindroo in the city.

The leaders and organizations demanded a fair probe by any international organisation under the auspices of UN Human Rights Council into the ruthless killing of a popular Chemist.

On the other hand, Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Shopian, Bandipore and Kupwara districts and conducted door-to-door searches causing huge inconvenience to the people.
